In 2004, I founded HandsOn China to promote volunteerism, inspire, equip and mobilize volunteers.
Originally starting in Shanghai, three full affiliates were established in Shanghai, Chengdu, and Hong Kong, with regular programs in Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Nanjing, and Beijing.
HandsOn China strives to establish and develop long-term sustainable relationships with charities in China. Servicing the long-term needs of our partners, we organize short-term projects that are sensitive to the schedules and interests of volunteers.
Together, HandsOn and its partner organizations create successful and well-staffed projects by allowing HandsOn China to manage volunteers while partner organizations manage the projects.
